Fun Facts About Jeannine
Welcome! I'm so happy you're here!
This is Me~ I’m recovering the person I’ve tucked away for many years! I'm a passionate about sharing my journey and living my truth through my writing. I love my family, my doxie dog Harley, YOGA, Meditation, fuzzy socks and kettle chips. And I am enough because God says so!
I began my journey in 2008 when I attended my first yoga class to relieve chronic back and neck pain. What I found was so much more. I literally found ME! Now I share that journey through my writing and teaching, through God's guidance. My hope is that in sharing my journey with you, we can connect and share in the light of Spirit.
**Jeannine grew up in a small midwest town in Central Illinois before moving to Kansas City in 1993. Her writing career began as co-founder and co-editor of the first ever grade school newspaper, Grade School Gosip, back in 1981. Her writing has since been shared on her blog as well as local and regional publications. Her love of teaching began when her church needed a 6th grade Sunday school teacher. Teaching 6th graders was about sharing experiences, not just knowledge. Jeannine continues to share her experiences in teaching Yoga and Meditation. She guides her students to discover joy and healing of the body, mind and spirit by blending breathwork, meditation and yoga postures to create a practice that is accessible and healing.
Jeannine received her CYT through the Yoga School of Therapeutics in Kansas. She is a Level 1 Instructor in Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery with the Veterans Yoga Project and a student of Healing Touch International.
