I close my eyes. The hum of the engine soothes me like an OM. The energy and power become part of me, relaxing my body and calming my mind as I breathe in. There is no where to focus and everywhere to look. The clear blue sky, bright and crisp is a pure backdrop for cloud pictures that inspire my thoughts. I see whatever is meant for me to see. For me there is no need to look behind. I am completely disconnected from the world and completely connected with the true nature of my Spirit.
The road, like life, is sometimes very straight and purposeful and sometimes winding and adventurous. The view from side to side is whatever I wish to see. Today, I see rows and rows of cornfields taking me back home. Getting lost in the memories of small town childhood. Birds zipping along side us as we roll through the back roads. I am free!

SPOTLIGHT - Pull Up A Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is an ACTIVE yoga class using a chair for balance and support. In Pull Up A Chair Yoga we practice the traditional Hatha yoga poses using a chair. Just as you might use props in other classes or even equipment at the gym to aid in your workout, the chair works as a prop to help us find balance in the poses and allows us to go deeper in many of the poses compared to standing alone.
Who should practice Chair Yoga? Everyone! Pull Up A Chair Yoga is a very active class and suitable for all levels of experience. I have students who practice both chair yoga and Hatha yoga. Experience with the chair has allowed those students to go back to the traditional Hatha class with more balance allowing them to focus on proper alignment in the poses. I have watched students who struggled with a down dog because of arm and shoulder strength, gain that strength over time using the chair. Returning to a traditional down dog with perfect alignment. We ALL tend to lose balance and flexibility over time. We use the chair to support us in our practice, but we also practice the poses traditionally (letting go of the chair) so we can feel our balance increasing. As with any class or workout, you will get out of it what you put into it! If you are rehabbing from an injury or a surgery, chair yoga is a great way to get back into your routine. Using the chair supports proper alignment taking pressure off the joints.
I am very passionate about Pull Up A Chair Yoga because it will benefit every BODY! Both beginner and advance yogis! It is one of my fastest growing classes because it does suite everyone. For beginners it gives them the time to find stability in each pose and for advanced practitioners it will help them go back to proper alignment allowing them to deepen each pose.

What Our Clients Are Saying
"I love my online classes with Jeannine. Her compassion and enthusiasm have spurred me on to get back to yoga after many, many years. I like to watch the live classes when I can, because it keeps me more accountable, but when I can't be there for the live showing, I can repeat that class later. I especially like that I can go back and practice past classes, too, providing a good variety during the week." ---Susan W.
