As we begin the summer season, I am excited about where we are going as a yoga community. I am happy to be part of the Wellness Wheel, but most of all I am so happy that you all are a part of my daily life.
My mission continues to be encouraging self-discovery through safe, supported and inclusive yoga instruction. Inclusive means regardless of gender, age, size, race, ability and income level #yoga4everyBODY. From the beginning, it has been my goal for everyone to feel welcome, safe and comfortable in my classes. That is still my #1 priority when you walk in the door.
It's no secret that yoga is becoming more and more mainstream. Unfortunately, with that, also comes some misconceptions about body type, age, ability and income level. It is my goal to continue to remove the barriers. With that I am excited to introduce two new options for yoga payments. First ~ Gratitude Payment. It is one of the values of Be the Journey Yoga to give back and to pay-it-forward. Gratitude Payment is the option to pay as you attend classes. This is a great option for those who might have a very hectic schedule that's ever changing, or a fixed or fluctuating income. Gratitude Payment allows you to drop in and pay what you can for any of the classes on my schedule. How much you ask? If you look at the average drop in rate of the yoga studios in the northland, you would see that the average drop-in rate is $15. With the average in mind, I recommend $5-$15 per class. With Gratitude Payment, you don't have to commit to purchasing a package if that doesn't work for you. It really is about paying what you can for the yoga class from a place of gratitude. Gratitude Payment will allow me to continue to give back a portion of ALL income to charities that support Veterans (Be the Journey Yoga supports the Veterans Yoga Project and locally the Veterans Community Project ~ Follow the Links to learn more). The Gratitude Payment option will be a trial for May, June and July.
Secondly, I am excited to now offer auto pay option for those who would like to continue to purchase their monthly unlimited packages. Auto-payment can be set up through debit or credit card. I know several studios offer this option and many of you have expressed an interest. Auto pay allows you to set up your payment to be automatically deducted on the same day each month. It is a safe and secure method of payment and my processor meets all PCI compliance standards for processing.
These options as well as my pricing structure keeps me aligned with providing a safe, secure and inclusive environment for your practice. As I was figuring the average of the drop in rates of the studios closest to me (I used 6 local studios north of the river), I also averaged the monthly unlimited for those studios. Since I am still well below the average for the monthly unlimited in the area ($89), my prices will remain the same.
$55 and $65 for Monthly Unlimited (expires one month from day of purchase)
Yoga Packages ~ 6 Class = $42 and 12 Class = $75 (expires in 90 days)
New Student ~ 30 Days / $30 (expires one month from day of purchase)
Gratitude Payment ~ $5-$15 / class
As always if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me ~
