Yoga for Healthy Backs ~ January 26th
Worldwide, back pain is the single leading cause of disability, preventing many people from engaging in work as well as other everyday activities and experts estimate that up to 80% of the population will experience back pain at some time in their lives.
My first yoga class was 10 years ago. It was my last hope for some sort of relief from chronic back and neck pain and it worked! My practice has changed through the years, but one thing remains the same, I always turn to yoga for my back health.
In our two hours together we will practice accessible hatha yoga to increase flexibility and mobility and then end with a restorative practice that will align our body, mind and spirit.
Pain comes from a variety of places, such as injury, trauma or even emotion. We all have something different that we are working through and this class will give you the tools to be able to create a practice that suits your needs.
All levels are welcome! We will work a lot with modifications in the poses, so even if you have never practiced yoga before, this class is accessible to you.

Class will be held in Kansas City at the Wellness Wheel.
